I’m Andrea Duff – proud founder and director of Social Butterfly NZ.
With a passion for helping businesses thrive online, I created Social Butterfly NZ to support brands in making meaningful connections with their audience. Whether it’s through powerful social media campaigns, smart advertising strategies, or compelling content, I love bringing a brand’s personality to life.

Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of businesses across New Zealand, Australia, the USA and beyond. From boutique startups to established names, helping them grow their digital presence and get real results.

At the heart of it all, I believe marketing should be fun, authentic, and aligned with your business goals. I bring a mix of creativity, curiosity, and data-driven thinking to everything I do – and I’m always excited to explore what’s possible.

My Story
Before launching Social Butterfly NZ, I spent over a decade working across marketing, communications, community development and business development roles. My journey started in corporate environments, where I honed my skills in strategy, branding, and customer engagement. But it wasn’t long before I felt the pull to create something of my own, something more personal, creative, and aligned with my love for working directly with business owners.
That’s when Social Butterfly NZ was born.

My professional background is complemented by a strong sense of adventure and a global perspective. I spent several years travelling the world while working on luxury super yachts, gaining first hand insight into high-end service, international trends, and the power of storytelling across cultures. I also spent a year living in Japan, immersing myself in the language and culture. A life-changing experience that deepened my appreciation for communication, connection, and attention to detail.

Drawing on my diverse background in both traditional and digital marketing, I’ve built a service that’s flexible, results-focused, and genuinely passionate about seeing businesses grow. I’ve worked with clients across a wide range of industries. From hospitality and retail to professional services and tourism, each with their own unique story to tell.

Marketing Administrator
Tineka Lyle
Tineka is our incredible Marketing Administrator, bringing warmth, efficiency, and versatility to everything she does. She plays a key role in supporting client accounts, social media content, and a wide range of marketing activities that help our team and clients shine.

With a professional background spanning sales, IT, real estate, travel consulting, finance, insurance, and freight, Tineka brings a wealth of experience and adaptability to our fast-paced marketing world.
​
Outside of work, Tineka is a proud and busy mum to two wonderful boys alongside her husband Phill. Family is at the heart of everything she does, and her spare time is often spent DIY-ing, gardening, hitting the beach, camping, and making memories with her treasured family and friends.
Accounts Administrator
Silvana Castagnoli
Silvana brings over six years of experience across bookkeeping, finance, administration and project support, having worked in both corporate and construction environments. With accounting and bookkeeping qualifications from overseas, a Qualified Bookkeeper Certificate in New Zealand, and currently studying towards a Graduate Diploma in Professional Accountancy at Unitec, she's passionate about continually growing her knowledge and skills.

Working daily with Xero, Microsoft 365 and AI-powered tools, Silvana loves bringing accuracy, organisation and efficiency to every task. From invoicing and accounts administration to client communications and day-to-day business support, she takes pride in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
​
Originally from Chile, Silvana enjoys bringing a bilingual, people-focused approach to her work and building positive relationships with clients and colleagues alike. Outside of work, she's usually spending time with her husband or studying something new, she genuinely loves learning and is always looking for ways to expand her knowledge.
